And I am going to dance about it.
Not because I don’t care. Not because I’m ignoring the suffering. But because this — this — being alive in a body, right now, in the middle of the mess — is the most sacred, rebellious, revolutionary act I know.
To feel the weight of it all and still choose to move. To let my body remember what my mind forgets: that we are stardust and sweat and ancient rhythms. That we are tender and feral and holy all at once.
Because dancing is the antidote to apathy. It’s the cure for disconnection. It’s the prayer we say with our bones when words fail us.
We must dance together in joy. We must hold each other in sorrow. We must move because we are alive — wildly, painfully, beautifully alive — and that matters.
You are human. You are here. And inside you there is pain and tragedy and heartbreak and hope.
Let’s dance about it.
Just move. Just feel. Just remember you’re alive.
Dance.
